Field Note #3. PRODUCE
“Laughter is the brightest, where food is shared”
Food lies at the heart of everything that we do at Seresin Estate and we place value on organic sustenance grown between our vines. Over 3,000 garlic bulbs and 1,000 shallots recently were harvested, plaited together and hung to air in the Marlborough breeze. Not only do the alliums contribute to the joy of our meals shared, they are used to make garden teas especially to deter chewing insects and tonics for our animals when added to their drinking water. They also provide seed for our next harvest.
