Field Note #1: New Beginnings
“This little piggy ran all the way… home.”
We are very pleased to start the New Year with new life on the farm. A dramatic tale of fleeing the sty on Christmas Eve, ended happily with the safe return and arrival of seven little piglets to our Estate.
Working traditionally with animals is one way we organically farm. Seresin Estate is home to many, including pigs and chickens indulging in their natural tilling behaviour, utilising weeds and naturally giving back to the soil.
