Sun and Moon Pinot Noir 2016

The 2016 Sun and Moon Pinot Noir is a savory, earthy affair, with forest undergrowth, fresh leather, pomegranate molasses and black cherry. In the mouth, it leads with enoki mushroom, hints of red miso, black peppercorns, tobacco and bay leaf. Sandalwood or myrrh eddy about in the background. This is a wonderful wine with firm tannins that convey elegance rather than brawn. It's the sapid and quenching mid-palate that really gets me.

13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
