Left on the skins for two weeks after fermentation. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, 17% new. Pale ruby. Like Leah, the overwhelming aroma is not fruit but something damp and herbal in this case. Good rich fruit on the front palate with satisfying freshness on the finish. Fine tannins still in evidence. Ambitious.13.5% Drink 2019-2024
