Pinot Gris 2023

 

The dry 2023 Pinot Gris is full, round and succulent with attractive pear, apple and creamy characters. It's soft and juicy, but it has a layer of both floral and savory complexity, likely down to a portion of wild-fermented fruit and another fermented in 'neutral' French barrels. There's tension and texture, with phenolics and acidity combining to create drive.
