MARAMA Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Certified organic, the youthful 2022 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-picked in the Raupo Creek Vineyard, in the Omaka Valley, and fermented and matured for 14 months in oak barrels. Light lemon/green, it is medium to full-bodied, with strong, fresh, tropical fruit flavours, savoury, biscuity notes adding very good complexity, and a fully dry, appetisingly crisp finish. Still unfolding, it should be at its best mid-2024+.
