Fragrant and enticing bouquet that ticks the boxes of ripeness and intensity, complexity and power, core fruits and drying herbs of the variety and layers of intrigue from the use of barrel-fermentation. Aromas and flavours of cape gooseberry and peach, a touch of vanilla and barrel spices, ripe almost sweet grapefruit and a lemon mineral quality. Acidity and fine tannins and moderate alcohol set the structure in place and the core fruit and non-fruit flavours solidify the wines sense of place and time. Well made, dry on the finish and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2029.
