Seresin Estate originally imported olives from a specialist olive nursery in Tuscany owned by the renowned Attilio Sonnoli. We chose a selection of the classic varieties that make Tuscan extra virgin olive oil probably the best in the world. The soils are of varied Waimakiriri type, which have an alluvial origin with free-draining basalt pebbles.
Olio Nuovo is our first cold press of our very best olives and is characterised by a pungent spicy nature, with notes of citrus, grass, warm herbs and pepper. It is ideal simply on its own with warm bread and salt, or used to drizzle on salads and soups.
