Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Seresin Estate originally imported olive trees from a specialist olive nursery in Tuscany owned by the renowned Attilio Sonnoli. We chose a selection of the classic varieties that make Tuscan extra virgin olive oil probably the best in the world. The soils are of varied Waimakariri type, which have an alluvial origin with free-draining basalt pebbles.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is characterised by crisp ripe apple flavours on the nose. The excellent autumn ripening conditions encountered in Marlborough, have created a complex flavour profile from fruity through to grassy and herbal on the palate, with the pleasant peppery finish. Delicious used in all styles of cuisine or on it's own with freshly baked bread.
