Seresin Hospitality and Digital Manager

Host, cellar door, events, e-commerce, digital marketing

Uncompromising quality and a desire to make wine as naturally as possible was at the heart of cinematographer, Michael Seresin’s vision when he developed Seresin Estate in 1992. The handprint on the sentinel stone at the entrance to the winery, and on the label of each bottle, is a symbol of strength, a tiller of the soil and the mark of the artisan.

Considered one of the world’s most iconic organic vineyards, visitors to Marlborough’s Seresin Estate delight not only in the biodynamically grown wines and olive oils, but also the gardens, livestock, the orchards, and the guinea fowl that peek past the breathtaking view. Generous hospitality is at the heart of Seresin - through wine, food, destination and brand experience.

We have a rare opportunity for an engaging communicator. This newly created position will be responsible for every visitor’s experience at Seresin Estate and Waterfall Bay, in terms of tourism, business, media and events. The position will seek to not only enhance the overall brand experience for our guests, but also their online experience and customer service.

This will be a unique and varied role requiring an eye for detail, flexibility and creative flair to inspire and lead. You will have the opportunity to develop business strategies, e-commerce initiatives, the online store and wine club, while managing events and the overall business and staff of the cellar door.

Ideally you will have a passion for customer relationship building, staff management and training, along with previous retail, sales or marketing experience. You will have e-commerce or digital marketing experience and a desire to lead in this field and drive growth for the business.

Reporting to the marketing manager, you will be welcomed and supported by a small team of passionate people.

Please apply by sending your CV and cover letter to marketing@seresin.co.nz before Friday 19th August 2016.
