We are very pleased to announce Jordan Hogg, Assistant Winemaker at Seresin Estate has been announced the Tonnellerie de Mercurey NZ Young Winemaker 2016. The National Final was held on Tuesday 23 August at MRC and the winner was announced at the Bragato Wine Awards dinner on Thursday 25 August.

Harvest
The hand-print was the first signature, the first form of art created by man and, for us, it is a symbol or our organic and biodynamic philosophy. All Seresin Estate wines are hand-tended, hand-picked and selected in the vineyard. Working this way does take a little more time, but gentler handling of the grapes allows us to nurture wines to express a unique sense of place.
Produce
Food lies at the heart of everything that we do at Seresin Estate and we place value on organic sustenance grown between our vines. Over 3,000 garlic bulbs and 1,000 shallots recently were harvested, plaited together and hung to air in the Marlborough breeze...
Biodiversity
Within one of our vineyards a selection of field flowers are planted between the vines, down every tenth row. As Mustard turns to seed and falls, the Phacelia grows tall, followed by Red Clover. The mix is planted to aid in the natural replenishment of soil nutrients and attract pollinating insects, which in turn help these plants to grow...
New Beginnings
We are very pleased to start the New Year with new life on the farm. A dramatic tale of fleeing the sty on Christmas Eve, ended happily with the safe return and arrival of seven little piglets to our Estate...
